Pre-Grammar Program
Are you looking for a quality morning out with your child?
Are you desiring the opportunity to meet other parents on the same journey?
Our Pre-grammar program welcomes children ages 4-5 with a parent one morning a week to a warm, inviting classroom setting. We meet during the Catholic Schoolhouse Program from 9:00-1:15. The children will be exposed to some of the concepts and skills that Grammar students are learning with an emphasis on the Tour Two (Ancient to Medieval Times) Saints, Geography, Art, and Science, as well as repeated opportunities for your child to participate in show-and-tell to prepare for presentation time that occurs in the Grammar levels. Parents will have the opportunity for fellowship and support from other parents of young children.
Children experience cooperative play and music each session. They will focus on letter recognition through crafts and manipulatives, calendar and weather, and catechism.
The Grammar I class celebrates All Saints Day with costumes and a party. Grammar I families also celebrate the feast days of St. Valentine and St. Patrick, along with families enrolled in the Grammar I/II/III through Rhetoric classes.
A typical day for you and your child might include:
9:00-9:30 Mass
